Samintang is the Project Green Challenge Champion, Winner of the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund, and EE 30 Under 30 2024 by the North American Association for Environmental Education, the Global Environmental Education Partnership, and the U.S. Forest Service. Recognized by the U.S. Department of State, she was selected to study Climate Change at the University of Nevada, Reno, through the Study of the U.S. Institutes for Global Student Leaders Programme. Her initiatives promote meaningful climate initiatives in Indonesia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the USA. She collaborates with stakeholders to organize hands-on experiences through science-based programs such as climate leadership and exchange program, school-wide workshop, and digital activations. Her mission is to connect communities with the fragile beauty of our environment through science, education, and storytelling.

Kwan Wirawan Kwandou
Co-Founder & Operations Manager
Kwan is one of the co-founders of Climate Catalyst and holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Hasanuddin University. He has a strong vision of bridging the gaps between economic science and the impacts of climate change that are currently unfolding. To realize this vision, he has been actively involved in academic activities, producing numerous publications and policy briefs to express his ideas on climate change. Currently, he is also advancing this vision through his career in the banking sector by pioneering new ideas in sustainable finance and implementing effective CSR strategies to address climate change issues.

Nurul Habaib Al Mukarramah
Co-Founder; Head of Policy and Research
Nurul has been dedicating over four years of her life to advocate for climate and environmental justice through grassroots campaigns, intellectual activism by research and localising the findings into writing, and other means to influence policymaking. During her "write, speak and act on climate" journey, she actively serve as the commission member of IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law, Loss and Damage Working Group of UNFCCC Youth Constituency, The World Bank MTE Climate Ambassador 2023 Cohort. The earned law degree in Hasanuddin University with specialization on international environmental and climate change law made her believe that youth holds the power to accelerate pro-climate policies and regulatory framework to champion climate justice. As a young professional, she channels her activism as an analyst for environmental projects alongside of providing mentorships for young people aiming to turn their climate solution ideas to real action.

Fiona is Head of Communications of Climate Catalysts. Her interest in environmental issues began when she participated in a scientific writing competition on the theme of climate change, which sparked her interest in delving deeper into this topic. She then actively participates in seminars and various activities related to climate change, and takes small actions such as regularly using tumblers to reduce environmental impact. As a fresh graduate in accounting, she now wants to combine her expertise in accounting with her passion for climate change. She hopes to gain more experience in the environmental world, particularly in a role that can utilize her accounting skills to support sustainability efforts. She believes that every small step has a big impact, and using her academic background, she is committed to contributing to creating a better and more sustainable environment for our planet.

Head of Partnership and Stakeholders
Rizal is the Head of Partnerships and Stakeholders of Climate Catalysts. Although he is still relatively new to the environmental field, he is determined to be serious and focused on addressing and being directly involved in saving the future of the planet. This is evident from his active participation in environmental social activities, such as visits to wastewater treatment companies to learn various aspects, as well as taking part in tree planting and community clean-up activities alongside other activists. As a final-year accounting student conducting research, he is focused on researching one of the most critical aspects of supporting sustainable development, which is funding. He wants to understand whether environmental awareness influences a person's growing interest in green investment. This is important because funding through green investment will greatly impact a country's or its citizens' ability to drive innovation and sustainable development.

Ghina Aadila is a student majoring in Islamic Community Development who also has a passion for graphic design and is actively involved in social activities focused on children and adolescents.
In her daily life, Ghina is always accompanied by her favorite yellow bottle. Since she was a toddler, her parents have been used to taking a tumbler everywhere. This was the beginning of Ghina’s journey in caring for the environment—simple yet meaningful actions.
With her graphic design skills, Ghina contributes to educating and advocating for environmental issues.
Her creativity in media and small habits reflect Ghina's love for the environment.

Aldiansyah is the Head of Design at Climate Catalysts. With a strong passion and deep awareness of climate change issues, he uses his creative expertise in graphic design to craft compelling visuals that drive climate action campaigns.
Beyond his professional role, he actively participates in climate-related seminars and discussions, which broaden his perspective on sustainability and strengthen his advocacy for the environment. Rather than treating design as pure aesthetics, he approaches it as a medium to raise awareness, inspire collective action, and highlight the urgency of addressing climate change. For him, creative publications and visual media are essential tools to amplify voices, spread knowledge, and make climate change messages more accessible to the public. He is committed to leveraging his skills to support climate initiatives, engage communities, and contribute to building a more sustainable future.
